8 ways to love your body -- now!!

8 ways to a HAPPIER and HEALTHIER relationship with YOUR body

In my 25 years in practice and consulting hundreds of women it breaks my heart to find a common thread of disconnect we as women can have with our bodies.

It is as though we resent our bodies, resist them, ignore and wish for something different.  It is time to mend those broken relationships and begin to have a thriving, loving and accepting relationship with our bodies and be grateful for them.

Sounds easy… right!?!  NO, but here is a TIP / TOOL that you may have never considered that will help catapult you well on your way to your journey loving and accepting your body.  Know the signals it gives you, how to read them, understand them, acknowledge them and learn from them.

Regulating your internal chemistry is one HUGE FUNDAMENTAL for happiness and acceptance.

If you are tired, bloated, have food coma how can you be happy, present and joyous?

8 ways to a HAPPIER and HEALTHIER relationship with YOUR body:

1.  Feed your body GREENS.  It doesn’t have to be kale, or chard or even collard greens.  It can be broccoli. If the latest fad veggie is not your cup of tea then don’t force it.  Eat a minimum of 2 large servings of green vegetables or DRINK a green vegetable juice (plug your nose and chug it if necessary J)  per day.

2.  Manage Belly Bloat.  Aren’t you sick of dreading sitting down and having your pants cut into you?  Watch for the foods you are eating that accentuate your bloat and avoid them.  If you unable determine which irritate your belly… then just use these types of products that will help your intestinal gut health heal PROBIOTIC in a high dosage and with consistency and  BONE BROTH, buy drinking one cup a day of this belly and beauty broth.    And for protein powder options only use high quality so it can help your gut, not ruin your gut!!  Organic Grass-Fed Whey is best.

Guess what…  Good belly health is essential to have in order to product our feel happy hormones.  Without it those happy little things won’t release.

3.  Have a zero negative internal talk day.   If necessary put it on your calendar!  Do so as a recurring event!  Every Friday have your little reminder go off saying “today is devoted to me loving my body, saying only nice things to and about it!  I am committed to each time I hear a negative comment begin to sneak in I will replace it immediately with a positive thing that I love about my body.

4. Break the rules.   If you don’t feel like eating a meal or snack, skip it.  Trust YOUR body!  It speaks to what is best for it at that time.    If you feel like having a day of fasting and only drinking water so that you secrete high levels of human growth hormone – GREAT!

5. Connect with other human beings, listen. Make eye contact with people, express pleasantries and interest. Have the confidence and willingness to speak up when you have something that you need to be heard.  Ask nicely, “I really need you to hear this… is now a good time for you to listen?”
Honoring you and others only shines our light brighter.

6.  Go out on a limb… yep!  Try new foods. How do you know if you still hate it if you haven’t tried it in years?  LOL!!!  Give it a try.  I think an easy way to do this is run by a store that has a large deli, like Whole Foods Market, and get small containers of a few things you haven’t tried in years.  Clearly they know how to cook these items or they wouldn’t be serving them.   Go ahead you big, bad risk taker you!

7.  Treat yourself.  If you want a massage or a cellulite treatment that is paired with a yummy massage or want a little freshening with a skin tightening… GREAT, you deserve it.  It is not glutinous to provide good care for your body.    Call Ranch and Coast Plastic Surgery and have them put you on my schedule… pair it with 7-day weight loss meal plan for only $9, 7-day Sugar Crusher or even my 4-week Slender, Fit & Fierce Downloadable Meal Plans and Information Guides more.   PH: 858.450.1555

8.  Live loving the life you live IN!  Confident and free from food controlling you  -- eat in a way that makes your mind and body feel free!

Lovely Liver Creamy Tomato Dressing

Lovely Liver Creamy Tomato Dressing

Whether you’re trying to drop unwanted pounds or flush out unwelcome toxins, you need a healthy liver to make it happen. Here is one recipe to use frequently to keep this overachieving organ to keep in optimal shape.
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for approximately 30 seconds. This dressing should be poured over green salad or steamed vegetables or even grilled fish. If you put over a salad, put over, do not toss because the avocado will oxidize and lose it’s green color. Make this dressing fresh and pour over and serve immediately.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 TBL fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
2 TBL coconut cream
1 small Heirloom or any tomato, seeded
1 garlic clover, chopped
1 TBL cilantro, chopped
Sea Salt, to taste
Black or Smoked black pepper, to taste

Other lovely liver loving foods: cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels, green leafy vegetables and fresh herbs, citrus, lemon and oranges, garlic, onion and eggs, artichoke, asparagus, yeast flakes, apples, carrots, lemon water and avoid… any form of sugar or artificial sweeteners.

If you have any Thyroid disfunction make sure the above vegetables are always cooked before consumed.

Life Sustaining Goji Berries

Fascinating and makes me want to live on Goji Berries -

This article came out and hit the web when Goji Berries became very popular.  I still believe they are very healthy for you and I suggest consuming them in small batches due the the sugar content.

Li Ching-Yuen was a Chinese herbalist, martial artist and tactical advisor who lived to the age of 256 having over 200 descendants during his life span and surviving 23 wives.
How did he do it?
Ching-Yuen is reported to have lived off a diet of herbs and rice wine including lingzhi, Goji Berries- wild ginseng, he shou wu, and gotu kola.
Where is the proof?
In a 1930 New York Times article, Professor Wu Chung-chieh of the University of Chengdu found Imperial Chinese government records from 1827, congratulating Li Ching-Yuen on his 150th birthday. Further documents later congratulate him on his 200th birthday in 1877. (Wikipedia 2013). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Ching-Yuen

After you read this article did you have the same thought I did!?!  Maybe is the rice wine that kept him going, especially surviving 23 wives :).
