Tamara's Tip
According to Dr. Axe stomach bloat has become a common epidemic in many Americans caused by poor diets, high stress, need for medication, and exposure to pollutants. Belly bloat can come with awkward symptoms like gas, feeling full, digestive issues and trips to the bathroom.
Some of the most common causes of belly bloat include digestive disorders, fluid retention, dehydration, constipation, food allergies and sensitivities, small intestine bacteria overgrowth, infection, bowel obstruction, hormone changes and even cancer.
There are ways to combat bloat such as taking probiotics, eating raw dairy, fruits and veggies rich in water such as cucumbers, celery, berries, melons, and leafy greens to name a few. In addition, some herbs, spices and teas such as ginger, dandelion, fresh parsley, oregano, and green tea may also soothe symptoms.
Besides the foods listed above you should also avoid processed sugar, refined grains, artificial sweeteners, and soda.
Staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, incorporating exercise and adding relaxation to your daily routine should also help with belly bloat.

Tamarized Treat… tasty recipe
Chia Cauliflower Pizza
Chia seeds are the star of this vegan crust providing fiber, protein, calcium and omega 3's. They are also loaded with antioxidants that can fight the production of free radicals, which damage molecules in cells contributing to aging and diseases like cancer.
Ingredients
1 large head of organic cauliflower
3/4 cup of almonds, ground
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic or onion powder (optional)
1/4 cup chia seeds
3/4 cup purified water
Instructions
Mix your chia seeds in the water and put in refrigerator 20 mins before intended use
Chop the cauliflower and place in blender or food processor, blend until it is a fine rice like texture
Measure out around 3 cups of chopped cauliflower and place in a large bowl, add in the ground almonds, oregano, salt and pepper. Also add optional ingredients if using them. Make a hole in the center and add the chia goop
Combine the ingredients and shape everything together into a ball. It should be loose and sticky not like traditional dough
Put the ball onto a baking tray and form into a flat crust with your hands. Make a ridge around the outside and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown
Add your favorite tomato base or pesto base and toppings. Bake an additional 10 minutes and enjoy your Tamarized healthy pizza
Topping ideas-Vegan pesto, rotisserie chicken, blanched asparagus, raw white cheddar cheese, heirloom tomatoes, basil etc.
